Sales Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India..You will be mainly accountable for:• Preparation of technical/commercial Brownfield /Service offers based on customer requirements, Local Business Unit and Sales organization directives. • Be the single interface towards customer / Local Divisions and ensure timely and proactive communication.• Responsible for the bid during the whole sales phase, from lead until winning the order.• Set up and collaboration with ABB group functions, such as Legal, Finance, Taxes, and Insurance.• Use experience and understanding to add to the Bid plans and decision making along as the tendering process evolves.You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Minimum 2 years’ experience in install base / service bidding for Automation (DCS /PLC/Safety PLC/Power Management Systems) cybersecurity for energy industries. Knowledge of any one of ABB automation products like 800xA/ Harmony / Advant is preferable. Experience in bid preparation for DCS/PLC install base upgrade/evolution/expansion will be an advantage. Implements global standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution. Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive. Minimum B.Tech/ B.E from a reputed University with First Class.
