Service specialist vendor operations
Introduction to the job

As a service specialist, you will support the Vendor Operations team, which executes transactional purchase-to-pay processes, and will work closely with Procurement and our ASML Business Services (ABS) organization.

In this role, you will support the administration for our external workers (our global external workforce). You will handle a variety of administrational activities from onboarding to offboarding cases with standardized steps. You will identify problems or challenges from our daily operations and will ensure an accurate solution and follow-up on cases to deliver the best experience for our external workers. Next to that, you will also participate in continuous improvement activities to standardize, simplify and automate our processes.

The first point of contact for our external workers will be covered via our global helpdesk. As a service specialist, you will provide support to our external workers, ASML managers and our Vendor Operations Helpdesk. You will manage the complex and urgent requests for our external workers. Within Vendor Operations we see technology as an opportunity and you will work with our systems (ServiceNow, OKTA) and processes (onboarding, life cycle, offboarding, etc.) with high efficiency and quality results.

Role and responsibilities

As a service specialist, you will join our Vendor Operations team, which is part of ABS, a shared services organization offering transactional services for Finance, HR&O, Sourcing & Procurement, IT, CRE, and Sales. The organization is supported by a centralized Capability Center, Master Data and Reporting Operations. Vendor Operations offers services for the Purchase to Pay processes. The services range from External Workers Accounts, Contract Management, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Providing Payments to our suppliers.  

In this role, you will:

Act as a linking pin between our global helpdesk and our regional teams with regards to our services for external workersTroubleshoot and resolve operational issuesCollaborate across teams to ensure structural improvement and/or expectation management is in placeDrive customer satisfaction for external workers and ASML managers; a good start of the first working day for external workers is where you can excelSupport improvements on regional and global level, overlooking the various interfaces in the end-to-end P2P processEnsure internal controls are embedded in the process and automated with the support of the internal control specialistsWork closely with the other process experts, business process owners and project teams

Education and experienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field3+ years relevant working experienceKnowledgeable on HR/Purchasing processesExperience and knowledge from a multinational organization and working in international projects is a pre
