Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Service Support Assistant to join a non-profitable public sector client based within the Sandwell area.
As a Service Support Assistant, you will work as part of a team providing comprehensive administrative support to workers and managers, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of electronic information whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Duties include (but are not limited to):Provide effective administrative support including setting up new systems and processesEnsure accuracy and consistency of dataCoordinate diaries, book appointments, arrange meetings, and ensure all stakeholders are informed of arrangementsManage incoming post and messagesMaintain accurate files and records, both electronic and paper-basedAssist in notetaking for meetingsProvide a first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiriesSupport finance and procurement processesComplete all tasks accurate within allocated timescales
The ideal candidate:
Must hold a valid DBS Check (Enhanced)Proven experience within a business administration roleNVQ Level 1 in Business AdministrationProficiency in Microsoft Office packagesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills, including the ability to plan and manage diariesA commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the workplace
37 hours per week
Temporary contract
£12.88 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience
