Community Operations helps operationalise every new and existing product and idea that Uber comes up with - it’s an organisation that touches every part of Uber! **About the Role** We are seeking an exceptional Program Specialist IV- People Manager to join our APAC COE in the Philippines, focusing on employee engagement and event management. This role is pivotal in creating, managing, and enhancing engaging employee activities and events at both the site and regional levels. You will work closely with the site leadership, employees, and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution of engagement initiatives that foster a positive work environment. You will also have reportees who will be running engagement events for 2 or more sites. You will need to dive deep into event planning, logistical coordination, and feedback analysis to build sustainable and impactful employee engagement programs. Your creativity, data-driven insights, and process improvement skills will be essential in overcoming challenges and improving our organisational capabilities. **Your Impact in Role:** - Manage a team and support them on day to basis. - Plan, manage, and execute a variety of engaging employee events and activities at both site and regional levels. - Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation. - Manage event budgets, coordinate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective execution. **The Experience You'll Bring:** - Has experience working independently with remote reporting lines - Proven experience in event management or enagegment, with a focus on event planning and employee engagement. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across various job functions. - Experience as a point of contact for senior leadership, particularly in reporting and creating presentations for projects.
