Volt is immediately hiring for Service Technician I in Turlock, CA

\r\n\r\n

As a Service Technician I you will: The Service Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of dairy wastewater equipment.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRepairs machinery equipment following oral and written work orders.\r\n\tReassembles complete units, tests function of pumps and mechanical units using auxiliary power. Test-runs engines at various speeds and observes efficiency of operations.\r\n\tAbility to perform major and general repairs on all equipment.\r\n\tRequired to record labor and material used on each repair made.\r\n\tRequired to take proper care and use of test equipment.\r\n\tMove large objects using heavy equipment.\r\n\tAll other job-related duties as assigned.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity.

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of machinery, electrical and other systems, and their components.\r\n\tExperience with belt, chain, and direct driven machinery as well as chain, belt and screw conveying systems and machinery.\r\n\tGood verbal and communication skills.\r\n\tMust be able to use and read tape measure.\r\n\tValid Class C Driver’s License.\r\n\tWelding Certificate (or obtain within 3 months of hire).\r\n\tProficient in manufacturing math; multiplication, division, decimals to fractions, fractions to decimals.\r\n\tAbility to use gauging equipment from .001\" up, dial indicators, micrometers, feeler gauges, etc.\r\n\tThe ability to climb and work from ladders and/or man-lifts.\r\n\tMust pass pre-employment M.A.T. testing & Fabricator Tool Test.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrevious experience working with Dairy Fields or Dairy Service.\r\n\tMobile Crane Operator.\r\n\tElectrician.\r\n\tField Mechanic.\r\n\tWelder.\r\n\tMaintenance & Repair Work (general).\r\n\tClass A Driver’s License.\r\n\tParts removal, installation, and alignment.\r\n\tStrong commitment to health and safety guidelines.\r\n\tKnowledge of machinery, electrical and other systems, and their components.\r\n\tExperience with belt, chain, and direct driven machinery as well as chain, belt and screw conveying systems and machinery.\r\n\tGood verbal and communication skills.\r\n\tMust be able to use and read tape measure.\r\n\tValid Class C Driver’s License.\r\n\tWelding Certificate (or obtain within 3 months of hire).\r\n\tProficient in manufacturing math; multiplication, division, decimals to fractions, fractions to decimals.\r\n\tAbility to use gauging equipment from .001\" up, dial indicators, micrometers, feeler gauges, etc.\r\n\tThe ability to climb and work from ladders and/or man-lifts.\r\n\tMust pass pre-employment M.A.T. testing & Fabricator Tool Test.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
