Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a Service Crane Technician to join their Ontario team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of overhead cranes and lifting equipment at client sites. This role offers a dynamic mix of fieldwork, hands-on troubleshooting, and client-facing technical support.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive inspections on overhead cranes at client sites.
Conduct repairs, installations, and equipment modifications based on customer needs and technical standards.
Respond to service calls and provide on-site support, training, and guidance.
Prepare accurate service reports, work orders, and expense accounts in compliance with company protocols.
Collaborate with clients' maintenance teams and provide excellent customer service.
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to safety procedures.
Support continuous improvement by sharing best practices and documenting non-conformities.
Participate in commissioning and start-up activities of new equipment.
Travel regularly throughout the GTA, with occasional travel within Ontario and Quebec.
Work flexible hours, including on-call, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed.
QualificationsCertification as one of the following (or eligible to challenge exam):
442A Industrial Electrician
309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician
Red Seal Electrician Certification
Technical diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical, or Millwrighting.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
Valid G class driver’s license with clean record.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Comfortable with IT tools and diagnostic software.
Experience with lifting/handling equipment, CSA B167, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems considered an asset.
Bilingual (English/French) is a plus.

Self-motivated and adaptable to changing schedules.
Comfortable working at heights, in all weather conditions, and in industrial environments.
Strong attention to safety protocols and technical documentation.
Capable of working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Physical & Work RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, kneel, squat, and work at arm’s length.
Work in varied industrial environments (hot, cold, dusty, noisy, indoors/outdoors).
Use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and PPE is mandatory.
Travel up to several days at a time (mostly local; occasional extended trips).
