C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 35 years to include John Deere Ag, Material Handling and Powersports locations, has an opening for a Servcie Technician at its Ag and Turf dealership located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the former Ideal Yardware location. A Service Technician independently performs set up as well as repairs and maintenance on small tractors, skid steers, mowers and snow blowers and performs basic assembly as well.  

Essential Duties:

Performs set up as well as repairs and maintenance on small tractors, skid steers, mowers and snow blowers and performs basic assembly as well Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties Maintains current product knowledge Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment Loads and unloads equipment when requested Promotes and sells the service department to customers including service work, inspections, and parts to increase customer safety and satisfaction Delivers parts, run errands, etc. as needed Follows all safety procedures and guidelines, and works in a safe manner.

Qualifications:

Diesel Technician experience preferred along with ability to work on CUTS, Skid Steers and mowers Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
