The role
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Storeperson/Trade Assistant to join our busy Workshop in Kalgoorlie, WA. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient inventory management, assisting with various workshop tasks, and supporting our Service Technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general stockroom housekeeping and maintenance.
Conduct yearly stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory control.
Handle receiving, receipting, picking, packing, and dispatch of spare parts and materials.
Prepare shipping documentation and manage dispatch logistics.
Operate forklifts safely and effectively.
Assist Service Technicians with tasks such as basic assembly and disassembly, painting, and sandblasting as needed.
Your profile
We are looking for an individual with a strong safety focus, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
Strong commitment to safety practices.
Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative.
Class C Manual Driver’s License.
Basic computer literacy.
Mechanical experience or background is desirable.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks, and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing.
