The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated auto electrician to join our team at our Kenwick Workshop. 

The role is to carry out general low voltage electrical duties, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis work on Sandvik equipment whilst maintaining availability and minimizing costs and ensuring Site Safety and Environmental guidelines are adhered to.

Key tasks include: 

Perform fault diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on a range of Sandvik mining equipment (underground and surface) using electrical schematics.

Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and components.

Your profile 

Auto electrical Trade Certification or equivalent.

Post trade experience of at least 2 years. 

AS3800 accreditation/experience would be advantageous.

Strong focus on safety and WHS.

Surface and underground mining and heavy mobile equipment experience is desirable.

Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously.

Experience with Sandvik products will be a distinct advantage.

Strong customer service attitude as well as a drive and determination to achieve targets and goals.

Some basic mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
