Job Responsibilities:Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for Volkswagen vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.Conduct routine maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, battery replacements, and more.Work closely with the Service Advisor team to communicate repair needs and updates to customers.Maintain accurate repair orders, including parts used, services completed, and time spent on each task.Follow all safety protocols and dealership guidelines to ensure quality work and a safe work environment.Keep up to date with the latest Volkswagen technologies and repair procedures to ensure superior service.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years as a Class B Technician or equivalent experience in automotive repair.Certifications: Must have or be willing to obtain Volkswagen-specific certifications (training provided).Skills:Proficient in performing general maintenance and repairs on all makes and models, with a focus on Volkswagen.Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working in a shop environment with moderate noise levels.NOTE: This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, or working conditions associated with the job.
