About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor you will interact predominantly with our maintenance and processing departments at our Tanami Operation, servicing and maintaining bore field generators, diesel pumps, a variety of light trucks, cranes, skid steers, loaders, light vehicles and other auxiliary equipment.
You will support the processing maintenance department to optimise the safety and performance of mobile plant assets and infrastructure across the Tanami operations and actively contribute to Newmont’s safety and environmental initiatives.

Trade qualification in motor/diesel mechanicCertificate in Automotive Airconditioning (desirable but not essential)Current C class manual driver’s licenceHR class driver’s licence (desirable but not essential)Experience within the mining, heavy industrial or processing environmentsWell-developed problem solving abilityHigh level of self-motivationGood computer skills with ability to learn new systemsExcellent communication skills, both oral and written
