Service Technician (Full Time) - Vancouver, BC

Responsibilities:

Installation of Microbulk tanks, gas mixers and nitrogen generatorsMaintenance and service of rental equipment and inventory of partsPerform equipment calibrations and complete permitting reportsTroubleshooting, minor repair and maintenance of Microbulk tankersHandle or assist with troubleshooting of equipment problemsFuture participation in paid “On-call” rotation on evenings and weekendsPurchase of non-standard or immediate requirement parts

Qualifications:

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent experience

Skills and Experience:

Class 3 driver’s license required with a minimum of 2 years of Class 3 driving experienceExperience driving a tanker-style truck, preferredGood physical fitness and ability to lift up to 50 poundsTeam player who has a strong focus on customer safety and works well contractors
Knowledge of, and experience working with, gas piping and pressure vesselsVery strong mechanical aptitude and ability to determine the root cause of problems both at customer sites and remotely over the telephoneSelf-motivated individual, capable of working independently and work with customers professionally and effectivelyA very strong working knowledge of computers, tablets and smart phones running Windows and AndroidWell organized with great attention to detailSelf-motivated individual, capable of working with minimum supervisionAvailable to work overtime and stay out of town in hotels when requiredRequired annual Drug Alcohol tests for customer access requirementsKnowledge of fountain and draught beverage systems is considered an asset
