Position Summary:
The Senior Service trainer is responsible for the technical training for all Doosan or Bobcat products:
- Manage the development of Service / Technical Training material (student material/teacher material in English) to meet the pedagogic targets and expectation from the Product Service manager
- Develop/build new pedagogic training tools such as online training, simulators, dynamic schematics, evaluation forms...
- Work with Product Service Managers and Engineering from factories to develop training material
- Conduct effective Training in English and local languages in EMEA Region.
-Coach Service Trainer and/or Service Trainer junior
Role & ResponsibilityDevelopment:
Gather input from students, Doosan field people and Product Service Manager to identify new training needs and provide feedback to training organization managment
Conduct training:
Execute one week technical trainings in the training center (Dobris ) and in the field for Doosan or Bobcat equipment
Manage training material development:
Manage the development of training material: Setup clear training courseplan Manage collection required input Createnew uptodate training material in English and local language Develop on-line training material & diagnostic workshops Issue regular status reports
Keeping himself up to date:
Assimilating the technology of new products in coordination with Aftersales and Engineering
Coach the Service Trainer and/or Service Trainer junior :
Share experience and best practice in: Technical and Product knowledge, Training delivery technics, Training design
Manage and organize local training :
Gather the needs, secure the content in accordance with the local training agreement, the certification program and the administrative requirementJob Requirement Education & Qualification: Engineering - Engineering Experience: 7>10 years More than 10 years experience as Service Trainer for a Construction Equipment manufacturer of which min years for Heavy Equipment and 5 years for Compact Equipment Field experience (repair – troubleshooting) – Dealer network experience Mechanics / didactic Heavy / Compact construction equipment knowledge Willingness to travel frequently throughout the region. Excellent English + Local Language(s) Very good Computer skills (Powerpoint, Word, Excel) required. Any knowledge of additional graphical packages or simulation tools is a plus (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Captivate,Articulate Story Line...) Good communication skills, verbal and written. Open minded to multiple cultures Ability to adopt new training techniques and use new training tools Global Breadth: Multi-Country (> One Country) Travel Standard: 25 - 50%
