Position: AR Accountant Do you have a knack for problem-solving and a drive for process improvement? Our client is seeking a talented AR Accountant to take ownership of a range of accounting responsibilities. This role serves as a vital function within the organization by overseeing a sophisticated billing process and providing actionable recommendations to optimize workflows across multiple related companies. You’ll be responsible for invoicing customers, supervising payment collection, and handling core accounting tasks including accounts payable and payroll liaison activities. Responsibilities: Take the lead on managing accounts receivable processes. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure that billing is completed accurately and on time. + Own the receiving and ordering process, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to company leadership. + Assist in implementing internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions. + Input timesheet data and verify supporting documents and appropriate coding. + Foster the organizational mission, values, and culture with a positive and proactive approach. + Conduct process analysis, applying investigative skills to identify and correct billing errors. + Handle collections and reconciliation of customer and vendor accounts. + Provide additional accounting support across related companies or as required by leadership.
