This role will support clients within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with opportunities to expand support to other defense and security-related organizations. The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, and administration of all ServiceNow functionality. Specific initiatives and work products that this role supports include:

What You Will Do:

Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.Lead the overall architecture design and development of ServiceNow implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.Provide technical expertise and guidance to the ServiceNow development team.Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.Serve as the lead technical point of contact for clients on all matters related to ServiceNow.Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform testing.Participate in platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance

What You Will Need:

Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) and experience serving in an Architect role.Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.Well-rounded technology consulting experience desired, to include ability to define requirements, lead client meetings, facilitate UAT, and conduct trainings.Experience working in an Agile environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.

What Would Be Nice to Have:

Experience with ServiceNow SAP ERP CanvasExperience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF)Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST preferred.Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
