What a typical day looks like:

The ideal candidate will understand ITSM and configuration management principles.They will perform the necessary tasks to design and develop ITSM related configurations and customizations.A successful candidate will be proficient in communication with various stakeholders in gathering requirements/information.Must be able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team.Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of the Service Now integrationProvide expertise on all technical questions related to development on Service NowDevelops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration testsUnderstand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes, and build this into the designUnderstand the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the projectExpertise level understanding of Service Now required.Expertise level programming skill.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Overall 6-8 Plus years of IT experience and 4 -5 Yrs of experience in ServiceNow Development and Administration.Experience in one (or more) scripting languages and a fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL.Good to have ITOM / CMDBAdvanced skill & experience in integrations & server side scripting (Javascript, etc)Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementationsStrong communication, Strong presentation and writing skillsExcellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application.Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.Experience with ITOM applications (discovery, event management, ..) CMDB, Asset management, scoped applications.Advanced skill & experience in integrations & server side scriptingAdvanced experience with workflows and good experience with flow designers.Good Knowledge and experience with Portal configurations.
