Job Description - The Software Engineer has primary responsibility for developing and supporting business solutions in a predominantly packaged software environment of a customer developed instance of ServiceNow. Based on business process models, technical designs and information models, associates in this role will use the package software's development framework to deliver proposed solutions. On occasion an application engineer will build software outside the package domain based on approved designs. Development work includes, but is not limited to the following: configuration, user interfaces, workflows, integrations, programming, report generation, data migration, data create, read, update and delete capabilities, and unit testing. This position will collaborate with other Solution Delivery team members to ensure solutions take advantage of the package application's technical, process, and data architectures. In a support capacity this associate performs root cause analysis to determine technical or application issues and resolves issues related to system performance and functionality, and cross system integrations. - We are seeking someone with CSM and Field services experience within ServiceNow. Skills and Requirements ServiceNow Experience: Prior development experience outside of ServiceNow and a successful transition into the ServiceNow platform.  Customer Service Management (CSM) and Field Service Management (FSM): Experience with these modules from an out-of-the-box perspective.  Development Skills: Proficiency in business rules, ACLs, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Python (nice to have), and JavaScript (client and server-side).  Integrations: Experience with code-centric integrations, especially familiarity with Splunk and its potential integrations with ServiceNow.  App Engine Studio: Familiarity with ServiceNow's App Engine Studio for building custom apps.  Source Control and CI/CD: Engagement with source control (e.g., GitHub) and involvement in CI/CD processes, especially with Azure DevOps.
