Job Summary

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer, this position is a professional services consulting role responsible for developing business transformation strategies to drive customer success. The ideal candidate will apply industry best practices and operate in a high-paced team environment. strategies to drive customer success.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Information Technology Service Management processes in ServiceNow, including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Portal, and ITOM
Design, Development and Implementation of ServiceNow including, but not limited to: core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations
Performs advanced configurations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports, etc.
Accountable for the delivery of biweekly sprints for the development team as well as ensuring that platform incident SLAs are met
Leads daily scrum calls with development team, business analysts, and process owners
Reviews proposed design with all customer and internal stakeholders, and leads all technical design meetings
Coordinate with Platform Architect to ensure designs meet development guidelines and best practices
Ensures effective communication and coordination of offshore development team activities with onshore process owners and requestors
Works with Platform and Project Management teams to ensure enhancements are delivered completely, accurately, and timely Coaches Offshore development resources to close technical and soft skill gaps during weekly mentoring sessions
Provides leadership and participates in vetting new requirements on the ServiceNow platform
Stays current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies
Drives process improvements and ensures process adherence for the offshore development team
Contributes development to biweekly sprints

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
