GovCIO is currently looking for a ServiceNow Idea and Demand Manager (Journeyman) to assist in the "Intake" process for our client. This position is located in Washington D.C. and will be a fully remote position.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for assisting management of the Ideation process; ensuring that all incoming Ideas and Demands are captured, evaluated, and prioritized based on business value and strategic objectives. This role will work closely with the Sr Idea & Demand Manager, as well as cross-functional teams, to ensure the successful delivery of ServiceNow and other I.T. initiatives and projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Executive/Division/Region/Program Office leaders, technology teams, and vendors.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify or triage new Ideas and Demands ensuring they align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.Assist managing the Intake process within ServiceNow, from Idea submission, to Demand, to handoff to PMs for implementation.Drive the process for prioritizing and selecting Ideas and Demands for review by Governance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the Demand Business Case, Scope, Objectives, Timelines, and Financials.Work closely with development teams to prioritize Idea “Stories” or “Epics” and manage their progress through the development lifecycle.Drive adoption of the ServiceNow platform for Intake and Demand management across the entire organization.Track and report on key metrics related to the Intake and Demand management process.Ensure the ServiceNow platform is configured to support Intake and Demand management.Continuously improve the Intake and Demand management process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Train others on the process and associated tools. QualificationsBachelor's with 2-5 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Teamwork focused and oriented – a true team player. 2+ years managing projects at the Enterprise level.2+ years of experience in IT Service Management.Experience in managing Intake and Demand processes, including developing and implementing process improvements.2+ years of experience in ServiceNow specifically with Idea and Demand Management (Strategic Portfolio Management).Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Fluent in English-excellent communications skills written and oral.Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearancePreferred Skills and Experience
ServiceNow certifications are a plus. (CSA, CIS, CAS)Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL best practices.Project Management skills, with experience managing complex projects from Ideation to delivery.Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field a plus. Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
