The Opportunity:
 

Come join our CACI team to be part of an innovative fast-paced highly technical IT team as a ServiceNow MariaDB Server Administrator in support of the EITaaS contract for the United States Air Force. 

This role requires on site (Chantilly, VA) work location 5 days a week to be in proximity of self-hosted ServiceNow instances and environment. 

Responsibilities:

Provide hands on management, configuration, operation, and support of MariaDB in support of self-hosted ServiceNow environments.Develop technical solutions, implement them, and perform appropriate testing.Work with senior leadership and a team with a variety of subject matter expertise on the criteria and process maps required for ServiceNow MariaDB to operate effectively and efficiently.Configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting MariaDB databases.Provide expertise in troubleshooting with the ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.Understand and execute technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow and MariaDB.Manage and support database queries in an environment with load balancers and network performance considerations.  Troubleshoot and correct database issues.Work with the team to conduct regular database backups and ensure that restore processes are effective and functional.  Create system documentation and technical reports.Participates in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.



Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor’s degree and 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations including managing and operating MariaDB in a clustered environment.Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system.Experience with operating REHL services and working as a system administrator.Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs.Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications.Intermediate to senior level of ServiceNow and MariaDB required.A fundamental understanding of relational databasesIdeal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.At least one of the following certifications:Certified ServiceNow DevelopoerCertified ServiceNow AdministratorCertified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, CSM, or similar)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
