We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Service Business Development Manager to drive growth in its region and expand our service offerings. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through the sale of our equipment service solutions. Provides guidance, training, and support to Importers on the organization's Services products, and drives Importers metrics and performance. Being an Importer Relationship Manager maintains working knowledge of Services products and programs, and ensures that Importer’s organizations comply with organizational policies and standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within his target region Accountable for spare part capture rate growth in the indirect sales network focusing on key accounts Support and review commercial route to market and together with Regional Business Manager adjust as necessary. Together with Importer, implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts Drive part, contract and other service product sales together with respective Importer network Together with Importer he/she develops and presents compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
Sales Management:
Manage the sales pipeline, track key metrics, and forecast sales accurately Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager, Importer and Hiab Service team to ensure seamless delivery of service solutions With the Importer, she/he negotiates contracts and pricing to maximize profitability Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
Customer Relationship Management:
Proactively identify and address customer needs and concerns Provides and seeks that the Importer provides excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
Strategic planning:
Together with the Importer leads service coverage in its geographical area through optimizing service network Continuously monitoring the performance of the service delivery network and optimising it for efficiency and effectiveness Integrate and further develop our key tools and dashboards for objective management decisions and strategic planning.
Service Operations:
Train, communicate and create credibility around installed base data and increase awareness in the organisation on parts sales opportunities Leverage opportunities for parts sales created through e-commerce, connectivity and other digital data leads developing and nurturing existing channels Support the development of customer value propositions for Hiab's HiPerform portfolio Aims to penetrate new key accounts or segments by leveraging existing networks or establishing new ones, supports Importer’s conferences and Importer’s training events Participate in exhibitions and conferences.
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, economics or related field Industrial sales representative 2yrs experience in service sales or industrial goods sales in the construction machinery, load handling, truck industry or agricultural industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers Competency in Google applications including Slides, Sheets, Docs and GMail Able to work comfortably in a fast paced and modern environment Customer Service mindset, Motivation for Sales and Closing Skills (Basic) business understanding and knowledge of KPI and customer success criteria Proficiency in managing and maintaining relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction Ability to identify upselling opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans Strong networking skills Experience in managing distribution channels and optimizing channel performance Capability to develop and implement strategies for expanding business with key accounts Customer oriented person with strong analytical skills.
