What will your job look like? Vision, Strategy and Direction -- Establishes the business function/unit vision, strategy and direction, to ensure sustainable competitive advantage. Develops and implements a plan to drive the vision. Leverages corporate strategy and investment direction to drive the business unit plan. Business Objectives -- As per the division strategy, sets business objectives and targets to ensure success. Integrates various functions, taking into consideration other functional concerns and needs to ensure achievement of short-term and medium to long-term objectives; oversees unit/region business plans across all projects and engagements; responsible for business results of the unit/business function in terms of revenue, pipeline and sustainable profitability. Able to operate in an agile mode, quickly responding to the customer needs and market trends. Operational excellence -- Establishes proper communication channels, processes and programs and motivates the team to achieve unit goals; drives organizational professionalism and excellence, and assures excellent delivery across all unit engagements by enabling and promoting standard tools and practices used in the organization as well as implementing an innovative culture in the organization to drive out-of-the-box solutions; introduces improvements to constantly increase efficiency and effectiveness of the operation. People Management -- Attracts, develops and retains talent to ensure that people with the right skills and motivation to meet business needs are in the right place at the right time. Encourages/rewards cooperation between teams, encourages innovative pursuit of finding ways to achieve goals and supports qualified risk taking. Sets unit-level and individual goals and manages the team performance process. Change Leadership -- Creates an environment that embraces change; leads changes that are essential for the achievement of long-term goals. Entrepreneurship -- Identifies and exploits opportunities for new products, services and markets as well as innovative test methodologies; establishes strong partnerships with key decision makers, executive sponsors both internally and externally; gains full understanding of the business challenges in the related domain / environment, market trends, future technologies, competition and partners as well as compelling events that may affect the customer's business and /or growth creation opportunities for new and existing accounts. Value Validation -- Constantly looks for opportunities to bring more value to the customers; effectively quantifies the business benefits that Amdocs Service Offerings brings and demonstrates business value proposition to customers, in order to be able to defend existing business and expand to new areas; communicates industry credentials and creates strong customer references. Demonstrates real-time decision-making and complex issue resolution, sometimes in areas outside his/her own experience.
