STAR Industrialization Leader will lead and drive initiatives to improve the process of turning technologies into product delivering customer or business impact. In this role, you will be accountable for functional, business and broad company objectives. This leader will partner with Aerospace Research Center, ATMRO, Engine Line Aftermarket Services, Customer Experience, Airlines Customers, Services Engineering, Chief Engineers Office, Finance and External Organizations to achieve transformational customer or business outcomes.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Use FLIGHT DECK – GE Aerospace operating system for establishing baselines, drive continuous improvement and get to stable operations.Collaborate with Aerospace Research and Catcher organizations to establish processes that can scale up to deliver customer or business impact(aka Deployment) within 12 months from TRL6 completion.Effectively manage multiple broad-scope programs simultaneously.Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, services, customer support, technology or engineering.Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer creative solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct & provide recommendations.Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision, consider global business-wide impact of every decision, and proactively seek cross-functional perspective.Strengthen the value chain of Business need – Idea(s) – Proof of Concept – Technology Maturation – Product Development to Maturation – Product Deployment – Customer or Business Impact Realization.Ensure all initiatives comply with GE Aerospace's safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) priorities, with safety and quality being the most critical in that order.Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.Minimum 10 years’ experience cross functional and leadershipAt least 5 years of experience in variety of engineering or technology development/industrialization and leadership positions.Proven experience in process development cutting across functions or divisions resulting in customer or business outcomes.Desired Characteristics:
