The Work You'll Do: 

Our Services Technology team is at the heart of ensuring that our Consulting and Compliance Services business uses technology solutions wherever possible to reduce risk, improve efficiency and ensure an excellent client experience.

The Services Technology Representative is responsible for working with Compliance Services team to ensure that client data is effectively obtained, interpreted, and imported into Sovos' suite of compliance products.

More specifically:

Liaise with Professional Services and/or Compliance teams where needed to complete client implementation projects. Review client data in line with our service delivery. Support and train the Compliance teams on using the SOVOS products. Onboard clients onto APR/Alteryx and into our service delivery process. Develop knowledge of VAT & IPT principles and relevant legislation to enable conversations with clients & internally. Ensure support tickets are resolved in a correct way and, if required, further raised to the correct team. Create threshold & retro calculations. Client conversations regarding the data delivery for our Compliance teams. Provide assistance to Associates in building APR/Alteyrx & Product expertise and resolving internal or client issues; serves as subject-matter-expert. Identify process improvements and offer suggestions to build internal efficiencies and reduce risk and foster continuous internal process improvement efforts by offering ideas and feedback to Compliance Service Managers and Supervisors. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

What We Need From You:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred. 1+ years of experience in a client service-related role is preferred. Excellent time management, decision making, and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. Ability to work as a member of a team and cross-functionally. Detail oriented and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Functions: Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers. Comprehend and communicate complex concepts. Concentrate, analyse and resolve complex problems. Utilise technology (e.g. phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfil work requirements.
