Sessional Associate IQA - Solar PV

Temporary, Contractual, Part-time

£250 daily / £30-£40 hour

Your Role

Fedcap are seeking a Sessional Associate IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) to ensure that the organisation's training and assessment activities meet regulatory and awarding body standards. We welcome applications from anyone with occupational competency in Solar installations and an IQA Level 4 qualification. 

You will monitor and evaluate assessors’ work, providing feedback and guidance, and maintaining accurate records of quality assurance activities. You will work closely with the trainer and external verifier to support continuous improvement and ensure that learners receive high-quality support, and a robust teaching, learning and assessment process.

Your Responsibilities

Ensure internal quality assurance and verification of all qualifications. Monitor and evaluate assessment processes for consistency and compliance. Support trainers/assessors with feedback, skills development, and standardisation. Ensure qualification units meet awarding organisations' requirements. Prepare and document standardisation meetings and sampling plans. Assist with External Verification visits and action follow-ups. Maintain accurate records of IQA activities and support tracking of assessments.

Your Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential

IQA qualification Solar Installations Qualification / Occupational competence Assessing qualification, CAVA, TAQA, A1, or equivalent  Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics and English or equivalent  Experience in quality assurance within a training or education setting, ideally within employability and/or a vocational training setting to awarding body standards.
