Description:

The set-up mechanic is responsible for setup of manufacturing and packaging line equipment as well as ensuring all equipment are functioning properly.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for the changeover of packaging line after the product change over and continuation of the packaging run Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs on plant, production and packaging equipment Setup of expiration date and lot number for labeling machine and carton coding machine as per the batch record Maintain Lockout & Tagout system Complete proper documentation as per SOP's Organize the setup tools in designated room Assist other maintenance staff in completing special projects or maintenance work as needed
