Job Summary The set-up mechanic is responsible for setup of manufacturing and packaging line equipment as well as ensuring all equipment are functioning properly. Essential Functions + Responsible for the changeover of packaging line after the product change over and continuation of the packaging run + Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs on plant, production and packaging equipment + Setup of expiration date and lot number for labeling machine and carton coding machine as per the batch record + Maintain Lockout & Tagout system + Complete proper documentation as per SOP's + Organize the setup tools in designated room + Assist other maintenance staff in completing special projects or maintenance work as needed Additional Responsibilities + Other duties as assigned
