Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
The Process Technician is responsible to set up and operate all equipment and to maintain all operations in a safe and efficient way and to ensure quality acceptable production requirements.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Setup and operate the Injection Molding machinery, tooling and equipment.Troubleshoot the machine; process and any quality issues.Maintain part quality expectations and production rates.Performs light machine and mold maintenance in his /her respected areaPerforms line clearance duties during job change.Trains operators on proper machine operations.In absence of operator may be required to cover the positionManages materials and auxiliary equipment essential for area of responsibilityWorks, develops, and implements continuous improvement methodology.Effectively communicates with all internal departments and external customers.Ensures work areas are clean and general housekeeping duties are being performedResponsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices and any other applicable Prerequisite Programs associated with the Food Safety SystemUnderstand and follow EHS policy and requirements specified in applicable EHS documents.Know where applicable system documents are located.Report actual and potential EHS incidents and emergencies to managers or supervisors.Communicate system non-conformances to managers or supervisors.
