Settlement Expense Analyst

IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company is seeking a Settlement Expense Analyst to join our Team!

 

The Settlement Expense Analyst is responsible for generating quantitative and qualitative assessments regarding IAA operations and monies charged as well as spent, providing management with visibility to business performance and business process exceptions. The Analyst will collaborate with peers, customers and departments including field operations and corporate offices as well as utilize data across multiple systems, and will be expected to demonstrate a clear commitment to the highest standards of integrity, professional and personal conduct.  To be successful as an Expense Compliance Analyst, one should be analytical with strong attention to detail as well as possess acute commercial awareness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Actively create and develop internal operational reports to provide management with visibility to business performance and identify business process exceptions Review and audit contracts, service level agreements, and performance reports to ensure compliance with customer and business process requirements focusing on quality and compliance Develop reports for specific business unit needs to create efficiencies with workflows or training Monitor performance, communicate and assist in refining processes where appropriate. Assist with maintaining and documenting business best practices Evaluate existing business processes, identifies changes and configures data systems to more effectively and efficiently meet customer and business requirements Utilize tools and software to create efficiencies within business process (Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI) Assist with maintaining up-to-date library of business rules, procedures or reference materials for Finance & Contract Admin teams Participate in the technology development efforts outlined by leadership, suggest technology improvement to existing processes Evaluate inventory performance across business units, identify performance deficiencies, and coordinate actions plans to improve. Work closely with management, operations, strategic account managers and technical teams in order to identify opportunities and address customer problems and needs

Competencies:

Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills essential Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and adjust schedule to meet multiple deadlines Willing to operate within a team environment Able to work independently and be a self-starter Proficient with Microsoft Suite to include intermediate excel experience

Preferred Skills:

Candidate must show history of tactful and positive dealings with all levels of personnel within an organization, internal and external Auction experience desire but not required Previous audit or accounting experience Experience with Microsoft and BI products
