About the team
We are a diverse multinational Settlements Team, working closely with Several Clients. We are continuously growing & now have an opportunity for a new team member to join us & gain full training in an unusual & interesting area of Finance; the LMA & LSTA Markets.
What you will be doing
You would be working within the Settlements Team, to ensure our Clients trades are booked, confirmed & settled in the Market in a timely manner. You would be liaising with Clients, Counterparties & Agents daily, to resolve any Ad-Hoc issues which come up.
General Duties would include:
Monitoring e-mail for relevant queries from Clients/Counterparties/Agents & ensuring a prompt response/resolution.Monitoring new trades as they are received from the Client onto our In-House system & ensuring they are confirmed with the Counterparty & booked onto the Market Platform on T+1Reconciling Trade information between our In-house system & the Market BookingReviewing Transfer Documents to ensure accuracyLiaising with Counterparty & Agent to agree Settlement dateReviewing Cash calculations prior to payment/receipt instruction being sentInstructing Custodian to remit/receive cashAssisting other team members in the completion of their responsibilities and assisting with any other ad hoc requests as needed.Participate with other team members in reviewing and assessing current practices and procedures.What you bring:
