As a System and V&V Engineer you will have the opportunity to work in an international and multidisciplinary team on the specification, verification, validation and qualification (IVVQ) of the solution towards our customers. The Air Mobility Solutions (AMS) SEV&V team has the responsibility to contribute to the specifications, test and qualification of TopSky and AMHS solutions and participates in the complete cycle of concept definition, system design, system integration and qualification.
You will have the opportunity of working in an exciting and technically challenging domain integrating air traffic control and information management systems with sensors. These complex systems include advanced solutions in the area of information processing, information management, user interaction and display of sensor’s information.
Key accountabilities
Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want to accomplish with a systemCreate infrastructure engineering definition/drawingsTranslate customer needs into engineering requirementsLiaise with project management and Design Authorities to ensure that all TopSky deployment work is completed within timelines and to standardsProvide operational/functional support to end-users and internal engineering teams and resolving technical inquiriesWriting test cases to verify system requirementsTracking and validating the Problem Change Report (PCR) corrective actions, in coordination with various engineering disciplines and teamsCarrying out validation tests, in coordination with customer representatives, during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the program’s relevant siteProviding detail reporting of test results and briefing the Management Team and external CustomerKey relationships
Engineering teams: Collaborate with to provide engineering services to achieve delivery outcomesProject delivery teams: Provide engineering services to support project deliveryPreferred skills and qualifications
At least 1 year on similar role/functionsDegree in Engineering (e.g. Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications) or Air Traffic ControlExperience in system engineering, verification and validation of complex systems, preferably on the air traffic control domainExperience in preparation and executing tests: documentation, testing, problem analysis, defect reports, etc.Other requirements
