The sewing supervisor is a highly technical person who can handle most of the operations on the sewing floor. They have to know the capabilities of the workers under her supervision and be able to instruct them to do anything that is required. The Supervisor forms the link between employees and Management. It is their job to solve the problems they can and explain the ones they cannot to higher Management. The Supervisor is directly responsible for the production and quality of her lines and ensures that the sewing section under her responsibility produces the required quantity and quality of production.
