The Sex and Relationships Senior Ecommerce Writer will join the Central Ecommerce Content Team to grow the sex and relationships shopping vertical across Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health and Women’s Health.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will:
• Create quality ecommerce articles – buying guides, product listicles, features, news stories and deals pages – according to brands’ needs, in the appropriate tone and style.
• Collaborate with brand editors to create new content and keep current content updated.
• Work with the SEO team to ensure all content is fully optimised and build out a content plan across the vertical.
• Support Hearst’s brands over key shopping events and sales periods, including Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day, with advance planning and real-time coverage.
• Coordinate with the newsletter and social teams to ensure sex and relationships shopping content is promoted across platforms.
• Use analytical tools to identify content opportunities and gaps. • Represent our brands at external PR events to ensure knowledge of industry trends and product releases.
• Be the go-to expert on sex and relationship ecommerce content for Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health and Men’s Health.
ABOUT YOU
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce engaging, original copy at pace.
• Experience writing sex and relationships ecommerce content.
• Strong knowledge of consumer trends within the sex and relationships space.
• Comfortable product testing and reviewing in the sex and relationships space.
• Experience working with PRs to get the inside scoop on new product launches.
• Experience writing for multiple publications and flexing tone of voice.
• Organised, meticulous and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of SEO best practice.
• An understanding of affiliate linking and platforms.
• Experience using content management systems.
• Experience using analytics tools.
• Experience using photoshop is desirable.
• Experience in social content and to-camera work is desirable.
