SGV Operator Job Description

Function: Operations

Summary: Operators and troubleshoots SGV operations, conveyor systems and outbound trailer shipments.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for all operating SGV equipment from start up to shut down. Understands and applies all SGV related tasks. Applies safety precautions for operating SGVs and any other material handling equipment. Inspects each trailer before loading and reports any trailers that do not meet defined standards to appropriate team member. Knows how to load and secure outbound trucks and all Safety Features of the SGV Safely clears SGV faults and able to accurately restart Capable of operating SGV in manual mode Knows and understands how to operate the sortation line including manual mode Knows, understands, and can troubleshoot the conveyor system and associated components Maintains batteries / equipment in SGV area Knows how to maintain SGV and load related paperwork Maintains accurate paperwork related to SGV operation, product outbound trailers, L1 and L2 meetings, and other documents as necessary to align with all Kraft Heinz standards and procedures. Maintain Employee Food Safety Awareness. Flexibility to work all hours and weekends as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Understand and follow company and site policies and procedures on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Hold Tags, HACCP, USDA, Foreign Objects, Safety and Security.
