In this role, you will proactively create a safe & sustainable workplace, promoting good working practices for employees  and support Health, Safety and Environmental activities at the LTCConduct site surveys to assure compliance with Corporate Health and Safety policies, programs, procedures and guidelines, and proper work practices needed to maintain a safe and healthful operation and work siteAssess risks and identify hazards in the workplace to create a safe and healthy environmentProvide SH&E inspections as requiredProvide SH&E training periodically as needed including NESO, LOTO, PTW, CSE etc.Development and review of proactive safety and health programsProvide work process review and signature approval for safe execution of hazardous work (for example management of the confined space entry process)Respond to site incidents including occupational injuries, environmental, medical, security, building and process related alarmsDevelop and implement response actions for site operations based on injury, incident, and near miss trends Support site activities participating in PSSR’s, PHA’s, MOC’s, and design safety reviewsConduct Safety Meetings on topics designed to promote on going Safety, Health & Environmental awareness on and off the jobEnsure proper case management and reporting for all injuriesProvide off hours support to the site as neededInterface with Linde Corporate SHE and LEA and R&D on SHE related issuesProvide support for Site occupants and contractors including site orientations and work permittingParticipate in site Green Team, site Safety Team, and E-Team VolunteersEnsure steps are taken to protect the environment from operations at the LTCOrganize, identify, and complete sit emergency drills
