Job purpose This position will primarily be responsible for providing full range of day-to-day HR support including recruitment and onboarding and execution of annual HR activities for corporate employees under the supervision of Mexico Shared Services Manager. In addition, this role is responsible for benefit administration and day to day operation for all Mexico employees, including pension plan. It involves both, tactical planning and daily operations and coordinating benefit vendors, global benefits, employees, plant human resources, and other departments to ensure accurate processing and compliance of employee benefits. This position is 30% HR support, 30% benefit administration, 30% benefit daily operations, 10% support of other HR Shared Services activities as assigned. Key responsibilities + Provides day-to-day HR support to corporate employees and managers in Mexico, ensuring HR policies and practices are effectively communicated and compliant with local regulations. + Responsible for recruiting and hiring process and ensuring smooth onboarding experience for new employees. + Creates compensation analysis and recommendations for new hires, internal transfers, and promotions. + Executes and supports annual HR activities such as merit, performance management, and talent reviews. + Processes employee transactions in Workday and maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records and files for corporate employees. + Responsible for the administration of benefits for all Mexico employees across 9 plants. Including health, vision, dental and life insurance, and other company-sponsored benefits ensuring compliance with local regulations. + Prepares and delivers benefit training, resolves issues to ensure successful employee enrolment. Offers benefits customer support and problem resolution to employees. + Manages daily administration of the pension plan, providing guidance to plant HR. Coordinates with payroll and the recordkeeper for plan administration, requests calculations, and maintains compliance protocols. + Stays updated on employment regulations, HR trends, and industry standards to ensure compliance. + Along with Shared Services Manager, works with benefit broker to research and analyze competitor benefits packages to maintain fair and competitive offerings. + Audits benefit payout expenses for accuracy and efficiency. + Other HR Shared Services activities as assigned.
