Compensation: $60,406 to $66,800 per year

The opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a full-time Shareholder Accounting Financial Specialist to join our Shareholder Relations team in Buffalo, New York. As an Shareholder Accounting Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the shareholder relations’ accounting, financial analysis functions, and project management in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of diversity, complexity, and confidentiality. The role performs a broad variety of administrative functions, such as expense management for shareholders, including invoices, bill payments, and other related actions. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $60,406 – $66,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Prepare and maintain financial statements, investment reports, ledgers, and schedules to ensure regulatory compliance and support shareholder reporting Manage accounting functions, including financial reporting, ledger maintenance, budgeting, accounts payable, and month-end close processes  Review and analyze new business proposals, budgets, and financial projections to align with shareholder goals and objectives  Collaborate cross-functionally to execute financial strategies, implement process improvements, and support budget planning, audits, and special projects  Coordinate administrative tasks such as processing invoices, preparing expense reports, and supporting external audit processes More about you Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a similar field preferred   A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality is required Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts payable function and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative office position  Accounting skills, including GAAP reporting and a conceptual understanding of accounting practices, are preferred  Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, Quicken, and QuickBooks preferred Able to work on-site 100% of the time.
