Job Requirements

Our future 5-star hotel, Sax, is assembling its opening team and is looking for a future Commis de cuisine.

Responsibilities:

Culinary:

Prepare and cook dishes according to the hotel's recipes and standards.Be responsible for organizing ingredients and equipment needed for meal preparation.Ensure the presentation of dishes is neat and aesthetically pleasing before sending them to the dining room.

Hygiene:

Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).Control the quality of the products used and the dishes prepared.Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

Work closely with the dining room team to ensure optimal coordination of services.

Work Experience

Required Skills:

Education:

BTS in Hospitality and Catering, specializing in Culinary Arts, Table Art, and Service.Professional Baccalaureate in Catering or a technological Baccalaureate in Hospitality.CAP in Culinary Arts.

Experience:

1 to 2 years of prior experience in a similar position, ideally within the hospitality industry.

Technical Skills:

Excellent organizational skills.Conflict management abilities.Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen.

Languages:

Proficiency in French.

Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.Diplomacy and responsiveness in problem-solving.
