Job SummaryFarmers is looking for a Subject Matter Expert to provide expertise in SharePoint, MS Teams, Power Platform, Azure, OneDrive, M365 Tools, other Microsoft technologies, and cloud solutions.
Internal position title: Apl Subject Matter Expert III. This is a Hybrid role to our Woodland Hills, CA office. What You'll Do
Coordinating with business partners, architects, analysts, and developers to provide guidance and solution based on business requirements. Develop proof of concept. Manage platform upgrades. Mentor junior level technical resources. Lead technical discussions. Review estimates and design, Provide strategic and technical guidance, solutions, governance, and best practices, ensuring that the appropriate technologies, processes and sourcing are in place.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint, MS Teams and Power Platform, along with proficiency with model driven apps and canvas apps development. You will be part of the M365 team directly contributing to the analysis, design, solutioning, development, deployment, integration, customization, optimization, ongoing support and maintenance of collaboration apps, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and other M365 Tools. Experience Requirements
Level IlI: 5 years of experience in application development / testing or business / system analysis role or 1 year of experience as an Application SME Level Il.
Additional Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, preferred. 5+ years in assessing, planning, and designing solutions based on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and all related core technologies, as well as preparing technical and design documents for the implementation of those solutions, preferred. Experience in supporting users in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high-level plan, preferred. Experience with MS technologies and tools (the ecosystems for Microsoft 365 – Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID, Power Platform, etc.), collaboration and communications platforms and services, cloud technologies, and their security, governance, and compliance, preferred. Experience in troubleshooting system environmental issues, coordination and working with Microsoft support, including the ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems, preferred. Experience with M365 Security and Compliance, Advanced eDiscovery, DLP and Azure Information Protection, preferred. Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and other command-line interfaces, preferred. Additional Qualifications (continued) Ability to understand and design a large enterprise-level solution upon technical, application and business requirements, preferred. Knowledge of issues related to the deployment of cloud-based solutions supporting business applications (ex. IT security, data protection), preferred. Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, preferred. Ability to work independently, as part of a team and ability to work with and direct the work of offshore teams, preferred. Special Skills Requirements SharePoint Online - Design, Development, Governance, Administration. MS Teams -Proficient in all aspects, Channels, development, workflows, Bots/Apps integration and Teams Rooms AV integration. Power Platform- Design, Development, Governance, Administration. C#, CSOM, SPFx, JavaScript, CSS, Web Services, Python, Powershell. Developing automated integrations between software applications such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Products, Azure, etc. Strong business communication and writing skills; project management and business analytics skills including project documentation and requirements gathering. Explaining complex concepts and issues in simple terms. Experience with OKTA a plus. Experience with Teams Townhalls, Events, conference rooms and AV a plus. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.Benefits
