**The Role:**
The **Microsoft 365 SharePoint Administrator** will be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of our Microsoft 365 SharePoint environment, and supporting the overall Digital Workplace productivity and collaboration goals of the organization. Team members of this role will work closely with the Service Desk to quickly resolve user issues. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensure seamless collaboration and productivity across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Microsoft 365 Administration:**
+ Administer and manage the Microsoft 365 SharePoint environment, including site collections, permissions, and user access.
+ Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to ensure optimal functionality.
+ Implement and maintain SharePoint workflows, document libraries, and other collaboration tools.
+ Collaborate with IT team members to ensure seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 services, such as Teams and OneDrive.
+ Develop and enforce best practices for SharePoint usage, governance, and data security.
+ Provide end-user training and support to enhance adoption and productivity.
+ Assist in the migration of existing content to the SharePoint platform and manage the lifecycle of SharePoint sites.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft 365 SharePoint features, updates, and industry trends.
+ **System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:**
+ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like the Microsoft 365 admin center and PowerShell scripts.
+ Ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction by addressing connectivity and service issues.
+ **Security and Compliance:**
+ Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
+ Plan and execute migrations, updates, and integrations with other systems.
+ **Collaboration and Support:**
+ Provide seamless experiences and self-service management capabilities for users.
+ Collaborate with other IT roles to drive strategic identity projects and modernize identity solutions.
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 SharePoint Administrator, including Teams and OneDrive.
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and other Microsoft 365 services.
+ Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate
+ Experience with PowerShell
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Microsoft Certified: M365 Admin or M356 Apps (SharePoint, Teams)
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience
**Educational Requirements:**
Must have at least 5 years of related experience with a BS degree related to the field or a minimum of 13 years of minimum experience in lieu of a degree.
