HOW A SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR (SME) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provides Microsoft SharePoint 2019 administrator support for a large customer within the DoD community. Administrator will be tasked with assisting in the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint 2019 architecturesAssist with SharePoint farm upgrades and deploymentsExperience and knowledge with SharePoint Online administrationExperience administering Windows Servers, Active Directory including ADFS, DNS, SMTP, Network Load Balancing, Windows Firewall, Event Viewer Performance Monitoring and PowerShell scriptingExperience configuring and maintaining SharePoint Enterprise search, index configurations, and schedulingExperience supporting Microsoft SQL Server in a SharePoint environmentProvide critical problem solving and advanced troubleshooting including site problems, address site permission issues, creation and configuration of sites and sub-sites, assist in definition of site resourcesPlans for and install service packs, hotfixes, updates and patches during off-peak time as required and communicate any downtime to businessPerforming data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data lossEnsuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving dataReviewing usage and activity reports and adjusting ensure optimized user-experiencesExperience with Information Assurance practices and principles (ex. STIGs)Provide security operations or coordinates security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation-risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring processParticipate in the design and implementation of methods, procedures, and systems to improve the processing and flow of information within the organization.Develop workflows, automations and other powerapps to improve pilot/project delivery and artifact managementEnable knowledge flow to enhance shared understanding, learning and decision-making for programs critical to effective mission command (MC).May serve as a technical consultant to a project or several projects dealing with area of technical expertiseCoordinates with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needsAnalyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects; consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projectsPerforms functional modeling based on requirements analysisGenerates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnelIdentifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systemsWrites and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materialsMay serve as technical team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experiencePreferred Skills:Knowledge/experience of Army command structures and possess the ability to integrate knowledge into SharePoint infrastructure for leadership and user consumption.Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer serviceAbility to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively including attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePointClearance Level: TS/SCIRequired Certification(s):DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contractIAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalentRequired Computing Environment Certification: MCSA Windows Server 2012, Solaris 10, Linux+, VCP5, Azure Administrator Fundamentals, or equivalentLocation: On Customer SiteAdditional:Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contractPosition may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activityTravel may be required to support the mission

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
