We serve a broad range of clients in government and industry, implementing complex projects from initial concept to operations. TRC is looking for a Sharepoint Support Engineer who possesses an in-depth knowledge of managing an enterprise environment. Candidate will assist in leading administration, troubleshooting, opening cases with Microsoft and acting as an escalation point for our internal IT team. The engineer will also research, design, implement, optimize, and maintain technical documentation. A successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional technical, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills. This person will be detail-oriented, self-directed, and self-motivated, and be able to effectively communicate with and share information within the IT organization and organization at large. Responsibilities Lead the everyday oversight of our Sharepoint environment. Act as an escalation point within the Application Development Team Evaluate solutions and provide technical guidance to help our employees achieve success and improve operational efficiency. Identify, resolve, and document incidents, requests, and problems. Maintain documentation of systems designs and configurations. Qualifications Extensive experience with SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server, including site collections, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.  Minimum 3yrs of relevant experience Experience with SPFx for building custom SharePoint solutions. Experience with customizing SharePoint sites, including branding and UI/UX design.  Expertise in writing, debugging, and optimizing PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration management, and system administration tasks.  Experience with SharePoint REST API, Client-Side Object Model (CSOM), and JavaScript Object Model (JSOM).  Familiarity with setting up development environments, including installing and configuring software libraries and tools.  Experience with PowerApps, Power Automate (formerly Flow) for custom solutions and automation.  Knowledge of integrating SharePoint with other Office 365 services like Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook. Experience with SharePoint migration tools and techniques for migration of sites between domains.   Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in short notice.  Fundamental grasp of database concepts, including SQL for data manipulation and querying  Experience in creating clear and concise documentation.  The ability to troubleshoot code errors and perform unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.  Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, discussing requirements, and presenting ideas.  A willingness to learn new technologies, languages, and tools as the field evolves.  Understanding of standards and best practices to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.  Experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio for developing custom applications.  Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub to track changes.
