Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a qualified SharePoint Server Admin to help support the SharePoint on-prem infrastructure (unclassified and classified environments) at a major national laboratory.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for the O&M tasks, such as handling tier-3 tickets, patching, and upgrades for the environments. Some after-hours work will be required in support of the team. The candidate will need to be a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong background in Information Technology and would need to work well in a team environment, learn new concepts quickly, and work independently on tasks.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems plus 2 years related experience; OR an Associate’s degree in related field plus 5 years’ experience; OR eight (8) years’ experience in a similar fieldMinimum of one (1) year of experience working with SharePoint on-premisesU.S. Citizenship is required per contractMust have an active DOE Q clearanceExperience solving tier-3 SharePoint ticketsExperience administering on-premises SharePoint 2016Windows Server patch management

Desired:

Experience administering on-premises Microsoft services, including but not limited to: PowerBi Report Server, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting ServicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in an ITIL centered environment Aptitude for learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.Ability to self-motivate and complete tasks from multiple sources, including ticketing systems and email Passion for providing excellent customer serviceVirtualized server administrationAutomating business processes utilizing Microsoft services such as: PowerShell, Power Automate, Azure Applications, etc.
