About the position
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect & Developer to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced SharePoint solutions that meet our organization’s evolving needs. The SharePoint Architect & Developer is responsible for designing and developing scalable SharePoint solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, customization, and integration, along with strong development skills to build and maintain complex SharePoint environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in guiding SharePoint strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, content management, workflows, and security models.
Develop and maintain architectural documentation, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions using tools such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, and Visual Studio.
Plan and execute data migrations to SharePoint Online, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to users.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SharePoint environments, including troubleshooting issues and applying updates.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.
Governance and Best Practices: Establish and enforce SharePoint governance policies and procedures.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze SharePoint performance, providing recommendations for enhancements.
Training and Development: Develop training materials and conduct workshops for end-users on SharePoint and Power Platform best practices and new features. Stay current with SharePoint and Power Platform updates, features, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with SharePoint design, implementation, administration, and architecture (SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server).
Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft 365, Azure services, and related technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and integrating these solutions with SharePoint.
Strong understanding of SharePoint security, governance, compliance standards, and cloud-based SharePoint solutions/migrations.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Active Directory, and other supporting technologies.
Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications such as MCSE: SharePoint, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other relevant field of study
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), C#, .NET, REST APIs
