The PTS (Porcelain Tile Specialist) will play a critical role in driving Shaw Contract sales growth by combining technical expertise, business development with professional sales skills (SPPM). This position will be responsible for understanding and articulating the technical aspects of our porcelain products while building strong customer relationships to drive sales. The candidate will have a passion for both technical problem-solving and sales, with a deep understanding of the Shaw Contract Porcelain line and coordinating Totalworx flooring accessories.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth within the defined geography.
Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with flooring contractors, specialty tile contractors, and could include specific agreed upon end users, general contractors.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and applications of our porcelain tile products and flooring sundries (Adhesives, Floor Prep materials, Setting materials, grouts, transitions, carpet pad and Moisture Solutions)
Assist customers in selecting the appropriate flooring accessories/systems for their specific applications.
Conduct site visits/job walks/pre-bid meetings to assess technical requirements and provide recommendations.
Conduct product demonstrations to highlight benefits and features of the Porcelain products/systems
Collaborate with the Shaw Contract product, Marketing, Design and technical teams to identify market needs, trends and gaps in our offerings.
Maintain and expand relationships with key flooring dealer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Focus on Fuse, Diverzify and ESP contractors in the territory as develop new customers in the commercial sector.
Collect and share customer feedback and understand TotalWorx requirements to win in local markets
Manage and update customer information and sales activities in Salesforce.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
5+ years sales experience
5+ years of Porcelain experience
Living in LA
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
