SHE Advisor

We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about sustainability, someone who wants to make direct impact to improve our safety level and who supports in achieving our sustainability objectives. To meet this requirement, we would like to expand our current SHE team and welcome a new colleague who recognizes himself in this.  As a SHE advisor with an affinity for environmental matters, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies within our organization. You will play a crucial role in identifying risks and finding solutions to minimize them. You will work closely with various departments to ensure our projects meet the highest safety and environmental standards.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and execute safety and environmental policies.Conduct risk assessments and audits.Guide and train employees on safety and environmental issues.Advise management on safety and environmental matters.Monitor laws and regulations and ensure our processes comply with them.Report incidents and conduct root cause analyses.Continuously improve our safety and environmental processes.

Team

You will work in a small team and collaborate with proactive colleagues. In this team we are looking for someone who is a team player, someone who can work independently and can communicate easily with people at strategic, tactical and operational levels.

Your Profile:

Minimal of MBO 4 level;Certification as MVK;At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a technical or industrial environment, experience in environmental safety is a pre;Solid knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations;Affinity with the theme of sustainability;Strong communication and analytical skills.Proactive and solution-oriented attitude;Team player who can collaborate well with different departments;Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001;Fluency of the Dutch language as well as the English language is an absolute must.

Due to the current housing situation in the Netherlands, this vacancy is only available for candidates who already live within commuting distance to Venlo, the Netherlands.
