Salary: £47,869.64 (inc shift premium)
Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights.
Role PurposeWe are looking for a proactive and energetic individual to join our high-performing maintenance team. As a small site within a large Food & Beverage business, we have plenty of hurdles to overcome, as well as opportunities to develop our established ways of working and leading in a high-performance maintenance function. This is where you come in!
You would be working alongside the engineering team and reporting to a Maintenance Lead to keep our site and its production lines running as smooth as possible. The ideal candidate will be a team player, easily able to communicate issues and take proactive steps to ensure the long-term success of our site maintenance, as well as being able to work independently as the need arises.

Key Responsibilities Perform all aspects of electrical, mechanical and preventative types of maintenance on various high-speed packaging machinery Read electrical drawings and be proficient in faulting finding Prioritise PPM activities and ensure these are executed in a timely manor Understand principle centred coaching leadership and humble questioning Coaching and qualifying aspects of PPM and AM activities with employees within the process Organise and implement duties as directed by Maintenance Lead Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are a low cost, high quality producer Ensure quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines. Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, Housekeeping responsibilities and QRMP operating procedures Flexibility to adjust schedule to work with employees from all shifts as required Works overtime as necessary Pro active approach to problem solving Maintain accurate records using the SAP system Control spend within their area of responsibility Organise follow-up work To work safely at all times and adhere to company policies. EG LOTO PTW Identify improvements to machinery and processes working with the CI team Elements of cleaning, alongside the FSQ and operations team is required. Perform other duties as required. What you'll have Electrical and mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience to Level 3; Multiskilled in electrical and mechanical engineering to minimum level 3; HNC in engineering would be preferred; Worked in a manufacturing environment; SAP experience or similar system would be a nice to have; Leadership qualifications or previous experience.
