Job Responsibilities The Shift Lead oversees, both customer service and kitchen operations to ensure Dog Haus policies and procedures are met. Daily responsibilities include the following: + Manages food safety cleanliness guidelines. + Works quickly and efficiently. + Very reliable. + Assists with supervising training for all store team members. + Works with the team to prepare the store to be guest-ready by opening. + Ensures that all communication and procedural tools are being used and followed. + Motivates team members through positive encouragement, embracing the company culture. + Able to lead shifts, while upholding Dog Haus quality standards. + Oversees shift labor to ensure proper staff utilization, employee breaks and general labor efficiency during the shift. + Guarantees that all cash handling, reconciliation, and credit card procedures are followed. + Completes opening or closing manager procedures.
