As a Building Maintenance Engineer with VCH you will:

Operate repairs and carries out scheduled maintenance on plant equipment while reporting to the Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance & Operations or designate of this position.Perform moderately complex repair work on buildings, grounds, installations and equipment including scheduled and demand maintenance as required. Qualifications

Education & Experience

Certificate of competency as a 4th Class Power Engineer recognized by the Province of B.C.Two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.Ability to operate related equipment. Closing Statement

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
