Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Shift Manager to join us at our Equipment Management operation in Burton Latimer, supporting our customer, Morrisons. This is a fast paced, busy operation handling all returned products and equipment from their stores. It’s all about recycling and reuse!
This is a full time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 06:00 to 18:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,999.96 per annum. and 22 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Oversee the running of the recycling operation Ensure that the site is utilising resource effectively, monitoring headcount, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness Promote and develop a health and safety culture on site in line with the company’s policies Get involved with performance management, KPI monitoring and drive continuous improvement initiatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A warehouse operational management background An excellent understanding of health and safety policies and procedures Experience of leading teams, providing guidance, coaching, mentoring, and
creating development plans The ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal capacity
